Siraya Tech Flex TPU Air is a foaming flexible TPU filament whose hardness and weight change with nozzle temperature, giving printed parts that are up to 50% lighter than standard TPU.
Siraya Tech Flex TPU Air is a foaming flexible TPU filament whose hardness and weight change with nozzle temperature, giving printed parts that are up to 50% lighter than standard TPU.
Printing hotter makes the foam lighter and softer: parts measure Shore A 78 at 240 °C down to Shore A 63 at 270 °C. It has a matte, fabric-like finish and comes in black and white.
Typical values from the Siraya Tech data sheet. Properties depend on print temperature, so the table lists values at 240, 250, 260 and 270 °C.
| Property | Typical value | Test method |
|---|---|---|
| Hardness (Shore A) | 78 at 240 °C, 71 at 250 °C, 68 at 260 °C, 63 at 270 °C | ISO 7619 |
| Printed part density | 0.88, 0.70, 0.59 and 0.51 g/cm³ at 240, 250, 260 and 270 °C | ISO 845 |
| Tensile breaking strength | 10.3, 7.2, 5.0 and 3.8 MPa at 240, 250, 260 and 270 °C | ISO 527 X-Y |
