Bambu PA6-GF is a glass-fibre filled nylon 6 filament from Bambu Lab for strong, durable, dimensionally stable engineering parts, with a heat deflection temperature of 182 °C at 0.45 MPa.
Bambu PA6-GF is a glass-fibre filled nylon 6 filament from Bambu Lab for strong, durable, dimensionally stable engineering parts, with a heat deflection temperature of 182 °C at 0.45 MPa.
Bambu positions it as a more cost-effective alternative to other top-tier engineering filaments. It absorbs moisture, with saturated water absorption of 2.56%, so it must be dried before printing and annealing improves the result.
Typical values from the Bambu Lab data sheet (V1.0). Specimens were printed at 265 °C nozzle and 100 °C bed with 100% infill, then annealed and dried at 80 °C for 12 hours.

Nozzle 260 to 290 °C, bed 80 to 100 °C, chamber 45 to 60 °C. Dry at 80 °C for 8 to 12 hours. Bambu recommends a 0.6 mm nozzle.
