Poly PT Flex is a range of fast-curing, pourable polyurethane casting rubbers from Polytek in hardnesses from Shore A20 to A85, made for prototyping and model making.
Poly PT Flex is a range of fast-curing, pourable polyurethane casting rubbers from Polytek in hardnesses from Shore A20 to A85, made for prototyping and model making.
The rubbers reproduce fine detail, shrink little as they cure and demould quickly, and they take colour from Polytek PolyColor dyes. The data sheet says they yellow in sunlight and are for interior use, and that they must not be used where food or body contact may occur.
Typical values from the Polytek technical bulletin, cured for 16 hours at 60 °C. Values are listed for PT Flex 20 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 85. All grades mix 1A:1B by weight.
