PX 225 OP is an opalescent polyurethane vacuum casting resin from Axson Technologies for thermoplastic-like technical parts and prototypes, with a flexural modulus of about 2,500 MPa, similar to polycarbonate or ABS.
PX 225 OP is an opalescent polyurethane vacuum casting resin from Axson Technologies for thermoplastic-like technical parts and prototypes, with a flexural modulus of about 2,500 MPa, similar to polycarbonate or ABS.
It has low viscosity, good impact and flexural resistance, and takes pigments easily, up to 1 phr in the polyol.
Average values at 23 °C from the Axson data sheet (TDS14F0049, 25 November 2014), hardened for 12 hours at 80 °C.
