Cambridge-based Node Audio crafts innovative, bespoke speakers to order. The team came to us seeking custom finishes to match its unique range of HYLIXA cabinetry.
We know that teamwork gets results, and we collaborated with Node to find creative solutions that resulted in sample finishes that met Node’s exacting standards. In addition to being durable and long-lasting, we knew the finish needed to reflect Node’s unique combination of cutting-edge manufacturing and skilled craftsmanship. This project tapped into our perfectionist finishing skills and eye for quality control. We used CNC machined SLS prints, painted with a high gloss and rubber finish, and machined aluminium anodised and mirror-polished components. Samples of each finish were approved by Node and then demonstrated on prototype cabinets before being used on the customer units.
