Both Meridian’s 7K and 8K models are hand made by us. The painstaking process originally involved us making prototypes from the designer’s drawings. Then we created the CAD file (a kind of digital map of instructions for the CNC router. During the process from drawing board to manufacture we were able to play an active role in improving construction methods and making the design more cost-effective.

TAD
TAD is Pioneer’s high-end hi-fi brand. This unique design features a layered birch plywood construction, which promised to be problematic due to wood’s tendency to move about once you’ve made something out of it. After much research, we completely sealed the structure in epoxy resin. The customer is quoted as saying the finished item is ‘a masterpiece’.
